But it seems Fortnite doesn't require much for it to go through its update process.To do this update in Fortnite, all you need to do is download the latest version and install it on your computer. This process will give you the option to either run the game or leave it be. Keep in mind that sometimes the update may still ask for the service of your browser while it is being installed .If you want to stop the updates from going through you can easily do this by using the 'safe mode' of your computer. This will just let the program go through the update process with no interference. While this will allow your computer to update without any interruptions, it may not be the safest option to do this.After the update has been completed it will make sure that the game is updated for your computer and reboot. If you want to do the next step of getting the update to update correctly, follow these steps: Go to 'My Games' or your profile and double click on 'Fortunes'.
